whistling/squeeling for a few seconds after starting the car
I'm considering buying an A3 that has a strange whistling/squeeling sound for a few seconds after starting the car. It only lasts for 4-5 seconds. It's sort of sounds like a serpentine belt, but it's not.
Any ideas?

im assuming it was a cold morning when you started the car? and it was coming from behind your radio
? mine does the same, does it for about a second before the fan gets going... i assume its just because its cold as *****, thats the only time mine does it.
